Kingfisher Motorsport partners with the BTRDA as title sponsors of the 2026 English Rally Championship
Kingfisher Motorsport are delighted to announce its continuing partnership with the British Trail & Rally Drivers Association (BTRDA) as the official title sponsor of the English Rally Championship for the upcoming 2026 season.
The partnership marks a significant step in its commitment to supporting rallying at all levels across the UK, from grassroots to national.
As one of the UK’s leading motorsport insurance brokers, the specialist team brings extensive industry expertise and a long-standing track record, providing tailored insurance solutions for individuals, competitors, teams, and businesses across the motorsport community.
The BTRDA is one of the UK’s most established motorsport clubs, overseeing a wide range of championships at all levels whilst maintaining its long-standing ethos of providing “serious fun in motorsport”.
This partnership with the BTRDA marks a strong endorsement of the championship’s growth and future direction. Kingfisher Motorsport look forward to the English Rally Championship, which will begin in May.
Ryan Thorpe, Head of Retail Motorsport at Kingfisher Insurance, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to be working with the BTRDA again. Rallying has always been at the core of British motorsport, and the English Rally Championship embodies everything we value at Kingfisher Motorsport. Not only the competition itself, but the community and the relentless drive for performance. We are thrilled to support the drivers, teams, and community who make this championship truly special.”
Mike Broad, President of the British Trail & Rally Drivers Association, said:
“On behalf of the BTRDA, I would like to thank Kingfisher Motorsport for their continued support of the Motorsport UK English Rally Championship. We are proud to run the only National Class-based Rally Championship in the country, which gives the opportunity for every competitor to win a National Title.
Without the support of Kingfisher Motorsport, we would not be able to continue to grow this important Championship within the Forest Rally community.”
